As if we didn’t know this already.

As you can see Alexander is making his Daddy happy, and is dressed up as Yoda, complete with miniature replica Yoda lightsaber! He also has a little Yoda jumper to wear to complete hit outfit, which he’ll put on this evening. I was in a bit of a hurry to get him dressed and take a few snapshots this morning, so opted to skip the battle that would have been involved in wrestling him into a sweater on this warm autumn morning.

Things in our household are good. We’ve mostly recovered from the jetlag associated with dragging ourselves around the planet to Edinburgh and back. Photos of the trip are coming soon (actually, most of them are already up on flickr – they just don’t have titles, tags or descriptions yet, and I haven’t sorted them into sets. My life would be easier if I was less finicky about stuff like this, but hey, that’s just how it is.) Also, I want to do Alexander’s 7 month roundup before I forget and he’s already 8 months old!

Edinburgh’s been very good to us.

We’ve seen loads of friends, eaten lots of yummy, stodgy food, and I think I’ve had more wine and beer in the past week than I’ve had in the past year!

It’s been so great to spend a whole week with Alexander and Mark.

And the weather was pretty good to boot.

You really can’t ask for more than that, especially for October in Scotland!

We’re off to Scotland today. See you on the other side of the Atlantic.

Alexander has been trying to wriggle his way across to objects of interest for about a week now. Today, all his efforts came together, and he can now scoot himself all the way across a room. He’ll be 7 months old tomorrow. Watch out world!
