Current Obsessions
Plum eyeliner. I have this Sephora brand one in Orchid Purple, but I want this one from Lancome in prune now I know that I like the colour on my eyes.
Plum mascara. LOVE THIS. It’s so much softer on me than black.
Opaque tights. I haven’t worn opaque tights since the late 90’s. What goes around comes around. I may even get bold and try opaque tights with patterns on them. Heck, I’m already wearing purple eye makeup, why not patterned tights?
Finishing up our ongoing home improvement projects and getting the house back into a reasonably tidy state. The bathroom remodels are aaaaaaaaaaaaaalmost done. Just need to get the mirrors installed, which is supposed to happen tomorrow. Then on Thursday, the carpet cleaning man is coming to work his magic. Then this weekend we’re planning on doing the Great Furniture Switcheroo, which involves new outdoor furniture being delivered to us, taking a bunch of old furniture to a consignment store and redistributing various pieces of furniture between our house, my parents house and Katie and Marc’s house. Good times ahead.
Carrot soup with cinnamon, nutmeg and mint. Soooo gooood.
Non-fat lattes with a little touch of pumpkin spice or gingernut syrup.
Running. Specifically, running previously unthinkably long distances with Billie.
Repeating every funny thing that Alexander says. There are a lot.
Still can’t figure out eyeliner (the why and the how). Denise put some on me for the wedding, I am not comfortable with poking a sharp-ish object so close to my eyeballs!
yeah, the eyeliner thing is still not exactly easy for me either. my friend melissa taught me how to apply it a couple of months back when i was a bridesmaid in nat’s wedding. since then though, i’ve been playing around with wearing it every now and then.
